We have exciting news at AAEE! This year, we strengthened our partnership with LEGO. LEGO donated money to NextGen Smarty Pants to host an afterschool robotics course. The participation and creations were incredible! We hope to continue this next year in STEM/Invention class and through clubs. Check us out on the news too!!!
LEGO News Story
We also welcomed Fly Away Isles. LEGO donated this structure to AAEE. Artist Hebru Brantley designed designed this structure in collaboration with The Brotherhood Sister Sol, a youth program that supports Black and Latinx youth in Harlem, NY. The city mandated its removal and LEGO quickly contacted us so AAEE can be its permanent home!
We hope to connect with students from The Brotherhood Sister Sol to thank them for their ideas, structure, and create a lasting partnership.
